In my last post I hinted of things to come…well, I’m excited to say that those things are here. Today marks the official launch of Beettle & Blossom, the Etsy shop where I will offer my creations. (Here’s the link: https://beettleandblossom.etsy.com. Click it. I dare you.)
I’ve always wanted to design and sell knitwear patterns, and it’s just taken me a long time a motivation to finally take the first steps. The shop doesn’t have a lot going on right now, but I had to share that I finally, FINALLY did it.
When I was a kid we had a family business, my mom, sisters, and I. We all contributed to knitting items to sell at fiber shows and festivals, like the late Big Sky Fiber Festival which has sadly had it’s last hurrah. My mother always wanted it to be more than it was, more than we had the resources for at the time. This is my homage to her dreams and everything she taught me.
